From the outfield he uses good footwork to approach ground balls, allowing the ball to get deeper into his body and could benefit from fielding with his glove side hand more out in front of his body near his right foot. He throws with a clean arm action, coming from an upper ¾ slot using 80 mph velocity. Left-handed hitter starts from a balanced stance, using a small leg kick for added power. He uses a fluid hands back load that gets close to an arm-bar position. He finishes with a high, one-handed follow through. Showed strength during his round of batting practice and reached a top exit velocity of 78 mph. He ran a 4.45 out of the batter’s box to first base.
