Shows quicker transfer to release time using 80 mph arm strength. Hits from a wider stance, uses a short hands back trigger, showed ability to use both parts of the field nicely. Reached a top exit velocity of 88 mph and ran a 4.76 down the line to first base.

Ramey projects best as a third baseman or offensive second baseman. He likely excels playing shortstop at the high school level, but he is better suited for the other roles. In the field, he showed a solid defensive skill set. He uses short arm action and a quick transfer while producing accurate throws across the infield. He showed some carry with a top velocity of 79 mph. Throws well from different angles on the move. At the plate, he starts from a wide crouch. Using a short stride, he incorporates his lower half well. Overall, a solid, compact swing with some quickness in his hands. Created solid contact to all fields with signs of pull power.
