6/7/16 6-foot-2, 230-pound strong frame. Has obvious strength through the zone with added whip through his bat tip. Creates energy with the lower half through an efficient leg kick load and well timed stride. Obvious that he knows his swing movements well as they are synced up and efficient. Drove the ball with authority in batting practice. Registered an exit velocity of 90 mph and ran a 7.89 60-yard dash. A very athletic first baseman with advanced feel for the position. Feet and glove are both solid attributes. Impressive 84 mph arm strength across the diamond. Very good defender.
1/31/16 6-foot-2, 230-pound thick, strong build. Christian is a physical prospect that showed off his strength and batspeed by registering an impressive exit velocity of 96 mph. Using a smooth, rhythmic load he is able to create, and transfer energy into contact while remaining under control. His stride is aggressive and goes with a bat tip to load his upper half and create whip through the zone. Was able to create backspin on his line drives to both sides of the field. At first base he moved well off the bag laterally and showed confidence in his glove. On his double play balls he did a good job of creating angles with his body prior to fielding to create a shorter, quicker transfer. With short, clean arm action he threw the ball across the infield with 84 mph arm strength. Ran a 4.74 from home to first.
