6-foot, 155-pound projectable frame. Right-handed hitter that starts open and gets back to even. Little load with an easy, short swing that stays flat thru the zone. Registered top exit velocity of 73 mph and ran 7.36-60. From the outfield he take aggressive routes and uses a big crow hop to gain momentum. Throws from a 3/4 slot with 76 mph arm strength. On the mound he has a slow tempo delivery and pauses at his balance point. Speeds up as he comes down the mound and throws from a 3/4 slot with fastball sitting 72-75 mph with sink to it that produced a lot of ground balls during the game. Spins a breaking ball with late action and 10/4 tilt at 69-71 mph.
5-foot-11, 150-pound thin frame. Uses a clean ¾ arm slot with average arm speed. Fastball was straight at 75-77 mph, Curveball showed tight downward spin at 67-69 mph. Changeup showed some tailing and dropping movement at 72-74 mph. From the outfield he threw with 77 mph arm strength. Tendency to open early, which effects his accuracy. Offensively, he started with a balanced set up, used a toe tap timing mechanism. Has room for improvement with his lower half and use of top hand. Ran a 7.47 60-yard dash.
2/18/13
5-foot-10, 138-pound two-way prospect with thin, lanky frame. Ran a 7.73 60. From the out field, he reached a top velocity of 69 mph. Uses long arm action through high ¾ arm slot. Needs to continue improving footwork and fielding the ball infront of his body. At the plate, he starts with a closed stance from the right side. Power will increase with better use of his lower half. Needs to continue improving balance as he gets heavy on his front side. On the mound, he throws through a high ¾ arm slot. Doesn’t use much of an inward turn in his delivery. More left in the tank. Fastball shows some run at 71-73 mph. Curveball is soft and gradual with 11/5 break at 60 mph. Changeup shows similar movement to his fastball at 63-66 mph. Chris is the younger brother of 2012 Marshall recruit Brandyn Sittinger.
