Miller is a tall, thin prospect with a good pitcher’s body. He has a good, loose arm with above average arm speed. His fastball sat 81-85 mph with late life. He has feel for a breaking ball that breaks on an 11/5 plane at 64-67 mph. His changeup has good arm side run to it and was thrown at 64-67 mph. If Miller continues to work at his craft, he has a future at the college level on the mound.
Scouting Report: 6-foot-3, 175-pound athletic, projectable frame with long limbs. Has a slow paced, full hands over the head windup in which he uses regular to some effort. Lands in a straight line at foot strike and finishes with his momentum carrying in good direction toward home plate. Offers a good four-pitch mix. His fastball was thrown between 81-85 mph. The curveball has late bite with good depth close to being on a 12/6 plane between 65-67 mph. Throws a slider with good shape and good bite to it. Throws his changeup using fastball arm speed and has some sink to it as well between 71-72 mph.
A right-handed pitching prospect in the 2019 class. Very projectable, 6-foot-3 frame with room to fill out. Uses a slower pace to a delivery that requires some effort. Arm action is clean and loose. Works through a high-¾ slot with well above average arm speed. Fastball comes out of his hand well, sitting 81-83 mph. Breaking ball has an 11/5 shape to it at 65-67 mph. The pitch some sharpness to it and produced consistent swing and misses throughout the day.
