5-foot-10, 210-pound prospect. Swings it from the right-side, initiating pre launch movements with a leg lift. Hands move back to launch prior to taking a slightly downhill path to the baseball. Strength is his top tool at the plate. Bat speed is developing. Showed some feel for the barrel, finding it often. Line drive type guy at this stage. On the bump he showed a smooth tempo to a delivery that requires some effort. Arm moves through a near high-¾ slot, generating average arm speed. Rolls through leg lift into hip load. Lands in line to home plate, staying mostly square through finish. Offers a three pitch mix in his arsenal. Located his fastball to both sides of the plate and got ahead of hitters well. Breaking ball showed gradual break while working on an 11/5 plane. Does a nice job of maintaining arm speed on his changeup. A strike thrower in general that has feel for all of his offerings.
