6’4, 200-pound prospect. At the plate he uses a simple loading sequence. Swing is compact on a downhill path. Bat speed is developing. Should grow into more pop as he fills out projectable frame. Presently a contact guy. Was at his best when he worked to the middle of the field. Has an ideal frame for the first base position. Gets off the bag well with feel. Ball skills are adequate. Plays with confidence. On the mound, the right-handed pitching prospect brings a tall, athletic build. He shows a smooth delivery with slower but efficient arm action. From varied slots, his arm moves well with throughout his delivery to the plate. Has a unique wind-up, creating a lot of his energy from a low leg load into a powerful downhill drive to the plate. Fastball is located well with some run into right-handed hitters. Very comfortable throwing his secondary pitch, the curveball in any count. Spinner has 12/6 action with good break. Located the curveball well and was able to throw it early in counts. Worked best when he was able to get ahead in the count and vary between his fastball and the breaking ball.
