Mechanical/Delivery Notes: The righty throws from a true ¾ arm slot with a delivery that somewhat resembles a ‘drop and drive’ style of pitching. Fastball: 76-78 mph fastball that had some life through the zone. Curveball: Curveball was 68-69 mph with good shape and spin. Showed good feel for the pitch. Changeup: 72-73 mph changeup. Pitch was mostly true through the zone. Still a developing pitch that will continue to improve with use. Pitchability: Average 3 pitch mix. Showed ability to command his pitches to each side of the plate adequately. Role: Currently probably more of a bullpen arm, could improve that stock by developing one of his secondary pitches into more of a swing and miss pitch.

Uses a fluid load with his hands moving past his back shoulder. Swings with a slightly upward bat path through the zone, finishing with a two-handed follow through. Showed the ability to use both sides of the field during his round of batting practice. Reached a top exit velocity of 86 mph and ran a 7.57 60-yard dash. In the infield he has a tendency to field the ball a little too deep into his body. He cradles the ball into his body before transitioning into a high ¾ slot, with 75 mph across the diamond From the mound he uses regular effort to his delivery. Lands closed at foot strike, finishing with his momentum carrying toward home plate. Throws with a short arm action, using average arm speed. Can increase velocity to his fastball when he wants, ranging from 74-80 mph. His curveball has good depth, with gradual break to it between 66-69 mph. Throws his changeup using fastball arm speed at 66-68 mph.
2/15/16 6-foot-1, 175-pound athletic build. On the mound he throws with regular effort. Lands slightly closed at foot strike. Throws from a high ¾ slot with average arm speed. Fastball sits 75-77 mph. Curveball sits 64-65 mph with gradual break on a 10/4 plane. Changeup sits 68-69 mph. Slows his arm down a bit on the changeup. In the box he starts with an open stance and takes his hands back during his short stride. Taking a downhill path to the ball he was able to reach a top exit velocity of 79 mph. At third base he showed the ability to move well laterally. He will need to work on playing lower. From a high-¾ slot he threw across the infield with 74 mph arm strength. Ran a 4.58 from home to first.
