5-foot-7, 140-pound average build. Right-handed hitter that starts open and gets to even. Chokes up high on bat with short, compact swing with 76 mph exit velocity and ran 4.57 home to first. Behind the plate he raises up early and shows decent footwork to get his feet in line. Throws from a high-3/4 slot with pop times ranging from 2.29-2.36 and 70 mph arm strength.
7/8/15
5-foot-7, 140-pound body frame. From the crouch he uses pretty good footwork to get himself turned and in line on his throws to second base, but could improve by continuing his momentum in a straight line to second base. He throws with a clean, short arm action coming from an upper ¾ slot reaching a top velocity of 70 mph to produce pop times between 2.36-2.39.
5-foot-2, 110-pound prospect with small, athletic frame. Limited by size at this point, but high motor type player. Shows obvious passion and love for the game. Carries himself with enthusiasm. Behind the plate, his pop times range from 2.50 to 2.58. Shows good direction with his feet, but needs to continue to develop some quickness. Uses short arm action through high 3/4 arm slot. Top velocity of 58 mph. At the plate, he does a good job incorporating his lower half. Uses a small leg kick to trigger swing and create forward momentum. Slight uphill path to the ball. Line drive type bat. Additional physical strength will only aid his offensive performance.
1/20/14
