A right-handed hitter that starts in an athletic setup. Shifts weight to back leg for rhythm before his short stride forward. Hands stay simple before taking a slightly uphill path to the baseball. Bat speed is developing. Swing plays best to the opposite field gap at this stage. Would be aided by getting more out of his lower half. Uses aggressive footwork in the outfield approaching the baseball. Fields the ball on his glove foot side. Would like to see him maintain momentum into his throws. Throws through a near 3/4 slot. A southpaw on the mound with a slower pace tempo to his delivery, A sidearm guy that has feel for the slot. Fastball more resembles a slider as it shows late, heavy cut. Sat anywhere from 64-68 mph with the pitch. Compliments his fastball with a slider. The pitch works on a similar plane to his fastball with bigger, more gradual break. The offering darts across the plate at 55-60 mph. The fastball combo make him tough to pick up, with the similar action and spin but with a large difference in velocity.
