8/7/16 6-foot-1, 205-pound talented catching prospect. At the plate he has fluidity to his hands back load during his forward movement. Bat gets through the zone with definite batspeed and strength through contact. Showed gap to gap pop, with the ability to use both sides of the field. Reached a top exit velocity of 94 mph. Behind the plate he registered pop times of 2.09-2.22, and threw with 73 mph arm strength to second base. Footwork is efficient and transfer skills are average. Showed the ability to block in games. Also looked like a viable option at first base.
9/25/19 Swing Mechanics: Righty bat with a simple, yet efficient loading sequence. Hit: Doesn’t get cheated up there and has the natural tools to do damage when he connects. Took a loud BP, smashing balls to pull side. Efficient swing sequence in general that was dynamic at times in BP. Power: One of, if not the top power threat on TRI-C’s roster. Left the yard multiple times in BP. Uber physical bat. Offensive Projection: Middle of lineup. Run: 7.48 Field: First baseman with above average athleticism for the spot. Impressive feel for feet with the ability to get off the bag and create the angle the play dictates. Throw: Arm is well above average tool for the spot. Defensive Projection: 1B.
