At the plate his setup is relaxed and upright. On the pitch he shifts his weight back, strides forward for timing. He uses a short path to the ball, barrel is slightly uphill through the contact zone, nice long extension out in front, high balanced finish. Exit velocity off a tee was 68 mph. He ran a 7.1 60 yard time showing quickness.
