NY Games (June 25-27, 2017)
5-foot-11, 180-pound RHP with intriguing potential, ran a 7.56/60. Pitching - explodes out of hip tilt at balance point with 80-82 MPH fastball that touches 83 MPH, batters struggle to make contact with late movement as pitch rises and runs, maintains delivery and release point on curveball at 71-73 MPH and change-up at 73-74 MPH. Offensively - inner knee rotation out of a nearly upright stance, keeps bat on level path through the strike zone with full extension for an exit velocity of 87 MPH, repeatable motion, comfortable driving ball to middle third. Defensively - sound fundamental footwork, takes direct line to ball, smooth and easy transfer to throwing hand, accurate arm at 79 MPH.
7/25/2017

5-foot-11, 180-pound right-handed pitcher and infielder. The glove showed well at the event in the infield, probably more suited for second base at the next level. The arm works well, plenty of life to it, throwing 74 mph across the diamond. The prep steps to the ball are appropriate. Ran a 4.62 down the line on his dig to first base, The bat has a tee exit velocity of 92 mph, and he took a very good BP at the event. Starts with his feet even, knee to knee timing mechanism on the bottom half. The path is clean to the ball and he stays flat and long through contact. On the mound, fastball touched 84 mph with arm side run to it. The spin pitch is coming along, sat at 72 mph. Needs more fastball hand speed to it. The changeup is his best pitch, sitting at 73 mph with fade and sink to it. Pitches out of a slightly higher than ¾ arm slot. The glove is posted across his frame and he stay direct to the plate with his feet. The arm is quick and the tracking of the front shoulder can improve.

3/8/2017

6-foot, 175-pound right-hander from New York Devli Cats. The arm comes at your out of a plus ¾ arm slot. The arm has quickness to it. The movements are athletic and the delivery is repeated. Comes out of his delivery from time to time, as he tries to throw hard. The delivery is closed on the top half and has a minimal crossfire to the feet. The potential is there, the spring and summer will be big seasons for him. The fastball sat at 80 mph with good sink to it. The spin pitch is slurvy and hard, got all the way up to 75 mph with the spin. The changeup is his best pitch, and it’s a swing and miss pitch when throw correctly, sits at 73 mph with fade. Best days are in front of him.

NY All-Star Games (September 19, 2016)
Pascarella features a athletic frame at 5-foot-10, 165 pounds. The SS/RHP ran a 7.49 60. Offensively- Starts in an upright, open stance with his bat straight up and down. Slight load of the hands with bat dropping to 45 degree angle as stride gains ground. Explodes through a locked out front side; short swing path with some LF gap extension. Line drive, back of the ball results with an exit velocity of 84 MPH. Table-setter, high average mold. Defensively- Taller, middle of the field setup. Angles out well on forehands with proper angles to his glove and backhand side. Short arm action from a lower 3/4 arm slot. Suitable left side arm at 77 MPH with momentum into and through his release. Pitching- Sets up slightly to his glove side; short drop step up to a 3/4 chest balance point. Lengthens arm action with a hook in the wrist; consistent stride and gets up and over front side well from a higher 3/4 slot. FB sat 78-79, touching 81 MPH with some late life. CB has a slurve feel with some 1:30-to-7:30 type action at 66-68 MPH. Flashed a change at 67-68 MPH.
