2/15 - Biddle stands a very athletic, 6-foot-3, 195-pounds with next level projection. From the mound he uses a side step, tempo is slower-under control. He separates high over the rubber, stays strong on back leg, front hip stays closed. He has long, back arm action towards 2B, still works very loose with velocity projection all day. His shoulders stay level, some separation, front side opens up too early, long flexible stride. Throws from a high-3/4 slot with an upright finish, needs to work on getting over his front side. Still unsigned, but any program that believes in their pitching coach should jump at him. Could be very good with some work.
Biddle stands 6-foot-3 190-pounds and the definition of projection. He throws from a mid 3/4 slot with a running fastball at 82-83 mph. He slows his arm down on his curveball at 68 mph with sweeping action. Mechanically he reaches with a long arm action, and heads home way too soon, if he can correct this some more velocity and control will be the result.
At the plate he starts with his weight slightly shifted forward with hands on his shoulder. He uses a heel lift before the swing, his bat path is inclined through the zone but hands get too high and front elbow leaks. His bat speed off a tee was 81.
In the OF he fields the ball in front of his body but rushes his transfer. He uses a small shuffle and crow hop with a mid 3/4 slot at 76 mph. His arm action is long and back. He ran a 6.97 60 yard dash.
8-16-14
Biddle stands 6-foot-3 190-pounds with a lot to like in his frame. On the mound he rushes towards home dragging his arm from a powerful mid ¾ slot. He uses a long back arm action with a fastball sitting 83-85 mph with projection for more when he figures it all out. He is still erratic with his pitches but when he slows down and keeps his shoulder alignment towards his target he will be in great shape. Excited to see his progression this fall through winter.
