Power / Speed Score
A simple calculation that divides the athlete’s Exit Velocity Max by the athlete’s 60 Yard Dash time for the given event year. For example, 98 MPH / 7.00s = 14.00.
Swung the bat great, the hands work and he is quick to the ball. Played 2B in the game and is a solid defender. Movements are athletic and he is under control throughout.

Duda checks in at well put together 5-foot-10, 175 pounds. Had a 60 yard dash time of 6.9 seconds, down from his previous best of 7.14 seconds. Offensively- Begins with feet wider than shoulder width and knees slightly bent in a slightly open stance. Hands are aligned at back shoulder height. Uses a small stride that lands at even while hands load backwards. Hands get slightly away from body before going to the ball. Swing plane is flat throughout and shows extension through contact. Weight transfers forward slightly before hips become rotational during his swing. Two handed finish right at front shoulder height. Line drive approach while flashing some pull side gap pop. Had an exit velocity of 88 MPH off of the tee, an 8 MPH improvement. Defensively- Approaches the ball with short choppy steps. Sets up with feet wide and bent at the knees. Fields ball well out in front of his body and takes hands right to midsection. Uses a double shuffle to generate momentum towards target. Had throws of 75 MPH across the diamond with a low arm slot. Pitching- Begins with feet at shoulder width in the middle of the rubber. Quick side step to initiate wind up. Knee lift comes to chest height at balance point. Stride leg is average length and lands slightly open. Shoulders arch back during a full arm circle. Extension out over front foot. Fastball was in the 74-75 MPH range with slight armside run. Threw a change up with fade at 64-68 MPH. Also showed a curveball with 12 to 6 shape at 62-63 MPH.

Stands in an athletic 5-foot-7, 140-pounds with room for growth. Plus foot-speed for his age, evidenced by a 7.14 60-yd. dash. Offensively- He's an aggressive hitter with a good rhythmic approach. He starts tall with his feet shoulder width apart. He starts his weight back, with a high leg kick, and slight wrap on the pitch for timing. He aggressively puts the bat through the zone on a downward plane, then extends and finishes high. Creates tremendous backspin and carry. Exit Velo was 80 mph. Defensively- At SS he moves well from side to side, and gets to balls easily in the hole. His set up is low with his hands out front. Stays low to his shuffle and through his throws. Throws from a low-mid arm slot. Energetic young player, look forward to seeing him again.

Duda stands an athletic and strong 5-foot-7, 140-pounds, with long legs and room for growth. Ran a 7.6 60-yard dash. Pitching- On the mound he stands tall with his heels over the rubber. Uses a side step to a high leg lift. Good counter rotation over the rubber. Hands drop slightly before separation. Uses glide to stride pitching method. Long, loose, high 3/4 arm angle. Leads with hip well. Throws downhill. Clean departure from rubber. Showed above average arm strength and sink with FB at 74 MPH. Drags back leg on CH (64 MPH) to reduce velocity. Should be fun to watch as he grows and gains strength. Tough kid, pitched this day with a broken glove hand.
