The 6-foot-2, 213-pound LHP and MLB rising prospect had yet another dominating shutout performance to drop his .20 ERA even lower. Dallas sat 89-92 MPH with an ever improving breaking ball that he’s been throwing harder over the past few weeks giving a little more tight/late break at 75-76 mph. The changeup is also being utilized more and consistently at 78 mph. He finished the day with 12 K’s and only 1 BB.

The Monmouth commit and MLB draft watch lefty shined with what was probably his best outing of the season showing consistent gains throughout the spring thus far. With numerous area scouts and cross checkers in attendance Dallas lit up the gun hitting mostly 89-91’s and a few 92’s in the first two innings. What was more impressive was that he was able to hold his velocity throughout 90 pitches.  In his final inning he still registered 4 at 90-mph and 1 at 91-mph before coming out of the game with the win in hand. He finished the game with 10 K’s and 1BB. The curveball was sharp and sat around 72-75.

The senior 6-foot-2, 210-pound Monmouth commit and MLB Draft watch pitcher threw a brief outing against Timon this week Thursday. He went 4 innings, 47 pitches 8 K’s and no walks.  The LHP remains dominant with his fastball between 87-90, touching 91 MPH throughout and showing improvement each outing on location and off speed.  The breaking ball was as sharp as we’ve ever seen and with a few added mph’s. He broke off multiple curveballs at 75-mph along with a 76-mph changeup with good late sink/fade action.
