Buckeye Elite Showcase (July 6, 2016)
6-foot-1, 160-pound thinner, athletic body frame, with room to fill. Offensively- Left-handed hitter starts his swing from a balanced stance using a toe tap creating good, rhythmic weight shift with his lower half to his back leg to generate power. Has a fluid load with his hands moving to his back shoulder. Swings with an upward bat path and finishes his swing with a high, two-handed follow through. Showed the ability to use both sides of the field during his round of batting practice. Reached a top exit velocity of 83 mph and ran a 7.42 60-yard dash. Defensively- From the outfield, he could improve by adding a crow-hop. Throws from a high ¾ slot with 75 mph arm strength. Pitching- On the mound he shows choppy rhythm in his delivery. Good direction to the plate, landing on line at foot strike. Throws from a low-¾ slot with the fastball sitting 71-76 mph. Curveball sat 68-69 mph with gradual break on a 2/8 plane.

Preseason All-State (February 28, 2016)

WNY Pro Holiday Clinic (December 19, 2016)
Pitching - He uses a side-step, hands near his shoulders with a knee high leg lift. Hand separation as he drives forward, front side gets long, arm action is long and back towards the shortstop, releases the ball from a lower-3/4 slot with an athletic finish with signs of hand-speed. Offensively- At the plate Jellinick sets up just outside shoulder width with hands that start and stay slotted about ear level.  He transfers momentum back to front while using a modified toe tap stride.  He showed some good power potential despite a long bat path and a slight opening of the hips early.  With those few minor mechanical adjustments he could see some definite gains at the plate and instant increase in his exit speed. Defensively- In the outfield he set up behind the ball and worked through it as well as fielding it off his glove side foot.  He throws just below ¾ arm slot and showed some definite life in the arm that may also transfer to the mound.
