Loose hips and hips through the zone produce line drive pop with gap to gap potential as he continues to fill out his lanky, athletic frame. Offensively- starts with a wide, opened stance. Hands are low with the bat vertical. As pitch comes in, uses a large leg lift, kick, and stride to start swing. As leg kick initiates, hands load straight back. Shows some explosiveness in hips and swing. Barreled several line drives in batting practice round. Produces lift in swing. Defensively- did not throw (injury). Shows athleticism and some bounce to step in the field. Hands showed some quickness and fluidity. Need to see more on Vergantino once healthy.
