6/14/15 -- Schaffer is a 6-foot-1 left-handed pitcher with slow tempo mechanics and plus arm speed. Coming out of the bullpen, Schaffer was largely 82-85 with his fastball showing a curveball at 70-72 miles-per-hour. He showed solid fastball command but command of his secondary pitch is inconsistent at this point. Schaffer will be one to watch over the next two years.
