7/16/15 – Clementoni is 6-foot-0, 165 pounds and has a slender build. He pitches from a ¾ arm slot and has fluid arm action. He showed excellent command of a three-pitch mix; locating each of his three pitches in the bottom third of the strike zone. Clementoni produced 3 strikeouts and a couple ground balls in his six batter simulated inning. He pitches with up-tempo mechanics and a rhythmic hand bump allowing for a repeatable arm swing and release point. His fastball velocity was between 78-81 miles-per-hour and showed late arm side run. When he really got extended over his front side, his fastball showed some late sink to his arm side. His slider was largely right-to-left, with occasional two-plane action when thrown with fastball arm speed. His slider ranged between 68-70 miles-per-hour. He kept good arm speed on his changeup which ranged between 72-73 miles-per-hour with some arm side fade.
