Top Prospect Showcase (July 16, 2015) Latushko is a 5-foot-11 outfielder whose athleticism really burst onto the PBR scene at this event. The righty/righty outfielder showed well in the 60-yard dash running a 6.84, showing off premium athleticism. He put his speed tool on display in the game portion of the workout - stealing a couple bags, including a great jump on a steal of third base. Offensively - He hits from a slightly open stance and utilizes a small leg kick and a high back elbow. He has some strength in his swing and some pop, particularly when he keeps with an up the middle approach. He occasionally gets long on the pitch to the outer half when trying to be too pull side. In the outfield, Latushko proved to be a premium defender with above average arm strength (89 MPH). He is a legitimate centerfield prospect and should garner some attention moving forward.
