Rutgers has been on the recruiting trail hard, and Kiernan is already turning into the hidden gem that they thought he might be when committing him. A wiry-athletic framed kid, Kiernan has a quick arm and releases from a high ¾ angle. His curveball is tight, and shows sharp 11-5 break and is a definite swing-and-miss out pitch.
