A simple calculation that divides the athlete’s Exit Velocity Max by the athlete’s 60 Yard Dash time for the given event year. For example, 98 MPH / 7.00s = 14.00.
6-foot-2, 175-pound right-handed pitcher. He has made the full transition to pitching and looks like he is going to be a good one down the road. The arm works well and he is a good athlete.
The fastball sat at 82 mph, minimal run to the pitch. He had pitched two days prior. The spin pitch is good in shape, sat at 76-77. The pitch is a slurve, could be tightened to be a slider. The changeup is 72 -75 mph, has minimal fade to it. The delivery is online with his feet, slot slightly above ¾. The lift is athletic and methodical, does a good job tracking the front shoulder. The glove side is soft and he is under control throughout the delivery. There is a small sink on the backside causing the fastball to have minimal downward sink, needs to stay a bit taller to pitch downhill. Good looking arm for me.
2017 FUTURE GAMES
6-foot-1, 170-pound right-handed hitting infielder. The glove is solid, moves appropriately to and through the ball. The ability to handle the pivot is appropriate. Threw 78 mph across the infield with accuracy and more velocity to come. The actions are good, needs to play with more confidence. Ran a 7.34 sixty at the event. The bat has a tee exit velocity of 86 mph. Sets up with his feet very close, and uses a small pick up and put down of the front foot as the ball approaches. The path is in and out of the hitting zone too quickly. The path needs to be flattened, which is doable, the hands work freely. Solid skill set to be a good college prospect.
10/30/16 Very skilled with the glove and fits the profile with the frame. The glove and prep steps to the ball are done very well. Handles the pivot well, threw 78 mph across the diamond out of an easy arm path. Ran a 4.34 down the line as he moves very well. The bat has a clean path to it, as the hands work. Hits off his front foot and has movement to the ball, effecting his contact point. The base is even and the hands are set high. Limiting the movement to the front foot and flattening the path a bit will help him immensely. Tee exit velocity of 82 as he will continue to get stronger.

Athletic right-handed hitting infielder, we have seen a number of times and I like his game. The glove is smooth and reliable. The arm works, he threw 74 mph across the diamond with carry and accuracy. The footwork is solid and he gets through the ball well. Ran a 4.41 down to first base on his dig. At the plate, hands show good life, tee exit velocity of 85 mph. The setup is even footed and he leaks to the front foot too soon during the approach of the ball. The hand and athleticism make up for a great deal with this guy. The frame is ideal to fill out and weight room work may turn this guy into a legit prospect as the tools are all there
3/8/15 5-foot-11, 140-pound projectable frame. From the infield he tends to wait back on his heels. Shows a clean exchange especially for his age. Able to throw from different arm angles with 65 mph arm strength across the diamond. Right-handed hitter that starts open and doesn’t quite get to even. Does a good job keeping his weight back with a flat path and a high finish. Registered top exit velocity of 75 mph and ran 7.86-60
1.18.2016
Right-handed hitting infielder who showed really well for himself at the workout. Ran a 7.2 60-yard dash. Showed a solid glove and good actions with his glove. A very athletic player, who threw 70 mph across the diamond and did it with ease. The bat has life to it, as his hands are fast. Had a tee exit velocity of 82 mph, which is very good for his age. He has a close feet setup with a high elbow. The bat needs to be flattened through the zone but his fast twitch tools lead you to believe this guy could be a serious gamer in a couple years, one to keep an eye on.
