9/21/20
Athletic, lean built righty who looks to have slimmed down a bit since his appearance at the 2019 Super 60. Same quick arm from a ¾ slot which is a tick lower than previously seen. Loose, clean arm action. Repeated a fluid delivery that lacked ideal extension out front. Two-seamer had some sink at 90-92 mph when down in the zone, but the pitch straightened out pretty quickly when thrown mid-thigh or higher. Best pitch was an 81-83 mph circle change that he located to both sides of the plate. Thrown with fastball arm speed, it sank gloveside and tailed armside. Breaking pitch was a below average slider at 79-80 mph that was released from a slightly lower slot than fastball. The breaker lacked tilt and control of the pitch was below average.
