2/16/15 - Huesgen is a 6-foot-, 165-pound right-hand hitting outfielder and right-handed pitcher. Attends Timberland HS in Missouri. Class of 2016. Balanced set-up at the plate, slightly closed stance, reverse toe tap stride, slight coil in load, compact line drive swing. Middle to slight pull contact during hitting evaluations. Exit velocity clocked at 89 mph, ran a 4.46 home-to-first. Athletic footwork in the outfield, soft hands, short high three-quarters arm action, 84 mph throwing velocity, mostly accurate throws. In the infield fielded the ball cleanly, quick exchanges, short high three-quarters arm action, 77 mph throwing velocity, all accurate throws. On the mound showed a simple pivot, vertical knee lift, high three quarters slot, finishes square and under control. Delivery has easy rhythm and flow. Fastball clocked at 80-82 mph. Controllable breaking ball with 12/6 shape, 66-67 mph. Change-up with dying sinking movement below the knees, 68-69 mph, good pitch.

10/25/14 – Huesgen is a strong 6-foot-0, 165-pound right-hand hitting outfielder. Posted a home-to-first time of 4.72 and a 60 time of 7.40. He throws from a high ¾ arm slot with quick arm speed, mostly accurate throws with carry, fluid footwork with a clean exchange, position velo of 83 mph. At the plate, Huesgen has a balanced setup, with fast bat speed to extension, line drive approach to both gaps, exit velo of 85 mph.  On the mound,  he has a high ¾ delivery and loose arm action, throws with easy effort and has smooth rhythm, fastball velocity range of 78-81 MPH, His curveball was at 65-68 mph with 11/5 shape, displayed a change-up at 68-70 MPH with sink.

9/27/14 - a projectable 6-0 165-pound OF/SS.  In the outfield, positional velo of 82 mph, loose high ¾ release, somewhat accurate throws, fluid exchange, plays through the ball.  On the infield, clean exchange, 76 mph positional velo, mostly accurate throws, fluid footwork.  At the plate, set-up is slightly closed, works to the inside of ball, level bat path to extension, gap-to-gap approach, consistent line drives during batting practice, 85 mph exit velo, runs  7.43 60, home-to-first in 4.72-seconds. On the mound, high ¾ release, 78-81 mph fastball, throws with regular effort, stays inline, 12-to-5 curveball, 63-65 mph, gradual break, 66-69 change-up,
