2/21/16 - Swope is a 5-foot-8 155-pound right-handed hitting shortstop in Missouri’s 2017 class from Kearney HS.  He ran a 4.28 home to first and has an exit velo of 86 mph. At the plate, simple and repeatable swing mechanics, balanced set up, short stride, level bat path though contact, pull side line drives during batting practice. On the infield, 70 mph positional velo, athletic footwork creating momentum through the catch, quick catch and throw, high three quarters arm slot, soft hands.

6/16/15 - Swope is a 5-foot-8 155-pound right-handed hitting 2B/SS in the 2017 class from Kearney.  Swope runs a 7.40 60 and has an 84 mph exit velo.   Swope starts in balanced set up, toe tap, quick hands, swing works to inside of baseball, balanced throughout swing.  During defensive evals, over-the-top release, fluid footwork, clean exchange, plays through ball, accurate throws, 72 mph positional velo.
