8/17/14 - Francis is a strong 6-foot-3 230-pound right-handed pitcher. He has a high ¾ arm slot with quick arm speed. He gets good run on his heavy fastball with a velocity range of 81-84 MPH. Kyle showed a 11-to-5 curveball with late break at 71-74 MPH. He throws a 70-74 MPH change-up at near fastball arm speed with some sink. Francis pounds the strike zone and has good command of all pitches. He dominated hitters in his appearance with 4 strikeouts.
8/17/14 – Francis is a strong 6-foot-3, 230-pound right-hand hitting third baseman. He posted a home-to-first time of 4.55. At the plate, Kyle has an open setup with a back load and long stride. He uses his lower half well and produces gap-to-gap line drives. Kyle has a tendency to pull and gets some power. The ball jumps off of the bat. Francis had an exit velo of 84 MPH.
2/21/14 – Francis is a solid 6-foot-2, 230 pound outfielder.  During the defensive evaluations, Francis showed a quick, loose arm with his top throw at 79 MPH.  He has a clean exchange and put every throw on target.  Offensively, Francis has a gap-to-gap approach with power to his pull gap.  He has a smooth load and has a shot, quick path to the ball.  His exit velocity was registered at 78 MPH and he runs a 4.56 home-to-first
2/21/14 – Francis is a 6-foot-3, 230-pound right handed pitcher.  Francis threw strikes as well as anybody at the event.  He has a repeatable delivery with a high ¾ release.  His fastball was clocked between 76-79 MPH and showed a 12/6 curveball with late break at 62-65 MPH.  Francis’ change-up had some sink and was thrown with near fastball arm speed at 71-70 MPH.
