10/1/17 - Steen is a high wasted and long legged 6-foot-2 185-pound right-handed hitting catcher in Missouri’s 2018 class.  He ran a 7.30 laser timed 60 and has an 86 mph exit velo. At the plate, thin set up in base, leg kick, in line stride, efficient hand load, aggressive swing, fast bat speed, flashing pull power, swings with intent to hit ball hard, gap to gap approach with mostly pull side line drives.  Behind the plate, 73 mph positional velo, 2.11-2.51-second pop times, short high three quarters release, throws are mostly accurate with carry, slightly staggered set up in feet with quick jab step, quick exchange.

6/28/16 - 6-foot-2, 175-pound athletic framed catcher. Offensively, right handed hitter, balanced stance, short, leg lift timing mechanism, looks the part. Bat speed, level swing path, gap-to-gap approach; exit velocity recorded at 84 mph. Defensively, ¾ slot, short arm action, some effort, soft blocking backstop; recorded pop times between 2.11-2.19. Clocked at 73 mph from the crouch. Also, ran a 7.47 laser timed 60.
