6/9/15 - Bohlken is a 6-foot-3 225-pound right-handed pitcher.  Bohlken has has a high leg kick, in-line stride, over-the-top release, repeatable mechanics.  Fastball at 78-80 mph with 12-to-6 curveball at 65-67mph.  Change-up at 67-69 mph with sink.  Bohlen works both sides of the plate and down in the zone.  Has the ability to throw any pitch in any count, worked backwards to hitters in game action.

2/16/15 - Bohlken is a physical 6-foot-3, 225-pound right-handed pitcher. Attends Smithville HS in Smithville, MO. Class of 2016. Ideal pitchers frame. Up-tempo vertical hands and knee lift to create rhythm. Hides ball during arm stroke. High three-quarters arm slot. Fastball with arm side running action, 79-81 mph, topped out at 82. Controllable 11/5 to 12/6 breaking ball, 69-71 mph. Change-up with sinking action, down in zone, 72-73 mph.

6/24/14 – Bohlken is a strong 6-foot-3, 215-pound right-handed pitcher. He has a high ¾ delivery and sound arm action. Jake throws with regular effort and throws strikes. Bohlken had a fastball velocity range of 76-83 MPH. His curveball was at 69-71 MPH with 11/5 tilt with sharp, slurve break. Jake also displayed a change-up that ranged from 73-75 with near fastball arm speed.

6/24/14 – Bohlken is a strong 6-foot-3, 215-pound left-hand hitting first baseman. He ran a 60 at 7.88 and home-to-first 4.75. He throws from a high ¾ arm slot. Jake’s throws were mostly accurate and had great carry. He has quick fluid feet. His position velo was 75 MPH. At the plate, Bohlken has an athletic setup and a smooth load with a short stride. He gets good extension through the ball. Jake’s swing produces line drives and has pull power. He had an exit velo of 82 MPH.
