8/17/14 – Fortuna is a 5-foot-8, 150-pound right-hand hitting shortstop. He ran home-to-first time of 4.09. He throws from an over-the-top arm slot. His throws were very accurate with a quick release. Fortuna is aggressive on his approach to the ball and plays through. His position velo was 77 MPH. At the plate, Easton has a balanced setup with a smooth load. He has good balance through his swing and a level bat path. His swing produces line drives to the middle of the field. Fortuna had an exit velo of 80 MPH. Easton showed off his speed during the game, swiping two bags.

6/9/14 Fortuna is an athletic 5-foot-8, 150-pound class of 2015 right-hand hitting middle infielder from Park Hill South HS in Missouri.  At the plate he starts with a wide, inline stance and high hands.  He has no stride, a simple hand load and balance throughout.  Fortuna’s swing is upper half-dominant relying on his hands to produce middle of the field line drives.  His top exit velocity was 74 mph.  During infield evaluations he showed quick hands and feet, made clean exchanges and threw with easy three-quarters arm action.  Fortuna recorded a top throw of 77 mph while making all accurate throws.  Fortuna ran a camp-best right side home-to-1B of 4.26 and in the 60-yard dash recorded a 7.15.  He's a good athlete that is trending up.

Fortuna displayed athletic actions and sure hands in the infield. The 5-foot-7, 150-pound middle infielder has a good approach to the ball, fielding it cleanly with a quick transfer and range to both sides. Fortuna made the play of the event, a diving stop deep in the hole. His throws were accurate with a top throw of 75-mph. At the plate, Fortuna has a balanced approach and sound hitting mechanics. His swing is short and compact with an uphill finish the produces lines drives and the ability to hit the ball to the opposite field.
