Comments
2/21/14 – Davis is a 6-foot-1, 160-pound right-handed pitcher. Davis showed good command for three pitches from different release points, mostly from a low, slinging ¾ arm slot. All of his pitches had good movement, including his running fastball clocked 80-83 MPH. He has a 10/6 slurve-type curveball with late break thrown at 73-77 MPH. Davis’ change-up was at 71-78 MPH with a little fade. He has good rhythm as he gets down the mound and throws with easy effort.
