2/16/15 - Moore is a projectable 6-foot-7, 220-pound right-handed pitcher with long arms and legs. Class of 2016. Attends Mountain Grove HS in Mountain Grove, MO. Delivery under control early. Turns and tucks at balance. Three-quarters arm slot. Fastball 84-86 mph, topped out at 87, worked down in zone well, some late sink, very high percentage of strikes. Breaking ball with 12/6 shape, 72-77 mph. Change-up with arm side run, 72-74 mph. Velocity trending up, topped out at 83 mph this past summer.
7/15/14 – Moore is a tall, projectable 6-foot-7, 204-pound right-handed pitcher. He has a high ¾ delivery with short arm action. Alex throws with easy effort and lands square, in-line with the target. Moore had a fastball velocity range of 81-85 MPH with some run. His curveball was at 69-71 MPH with 11/5 tilt with sharp break. Alex also displayed a change-up that ranged from 69-71 with near fastball arm speed.
7/15/14 – Moore is a tall 6-foot-7, 204-pound right-hand hitting first-baseman. He ran a 60 at 7.37 and home-to-first time at 4.60. He throws from a high 3/4 arm slot and long arm action. Adam’s throws were mostly accurate. His position velo was 81 MPH. At the plate, Moore has an athletic setup and a smooth load. He explodes with his lower half and gets great leverage in his swing. Alex’s swing produces line drives and has good power to all fields. He had an exit velo of 87 MPH.
6/17/14 - Moore is a thin 6-foot-6 204-pound RHP.  Moore works with regular effort with a high 3/4 release.  His fastball has slight run at 79-83 MPH.  He showed an 11-to-5 shaped curveball at 67-65 MPH with sharp, late break at near fastball arm speed.  Moore’s change-up was clocked at 57 MPH.  Moore has a long, loose arm that has the ability to add velocity and command as he continues to develop.
6/17/14 – Moore is a 6-foot-7 204-pound first-baseman.  During the defensive drills, Moore showed quick feet and made mostly accurate throws.  He has a ¾ release and a positional velo of 79 MPH.  At the plate, Moore starts in an athletic position and has a gap-to-gap approach.  He has an exit velo of 87 MPH and runs a 4.60 home-to-first with a 7.52 60.
