Solid receiver, flexible, quality square stance, keeps blocks in front. Long stride, avg. footwork, accurate to bag with above arm action and strength, 79 mph arm strength with 1.92-2.08 pop times.
MN UNDERCLASS PROSPECT GAMES: 7/1/15
6-foot-1, 145-pound right-handed hitting catcher. Middle of field approach. Groundball/ line-drive bat path. Requires strength gains. Closed stance. Needs to improve lower half in swing. 70 mph exit velocity. 2.38 pop time with 66 mph arm strength. Flexible body. Long exchange on throws. Soft hands receiving. Improvement required on beating ball to spot and staying square to pitcher.

5-foot-9, 125-pound catcher. 5.33 home to first time. Right handed hitter, overall solid hitting mechanics, in line stride to ball, lands on front heel which effects weight shift through contact. Tends to drop hands before initiating swing. Exit velocity of 60 mph. Defensively, low setup behind plate. Shows good flexibility and works to hold pitches in zone. Moves well blocking the baseball. Simple catch and turn mechanics in throwing. Glove to arm exchange is low; causing long arm action. Throws with open front side to second base. Pop times of 2.72-2.75 with 62 mph arm strength.
