5-foot-11, 180-pound 2-way player. 7.53 60. Quiet actions in box with line drive swing plane. Solid approach and uses middle of field. 82 mph exit velocity off tee. Above average defender at third base with an 84 mph arm with accuracy. Soft hands and works down to up on groundballs. 84-86 mph on mound with fastball command to both sides of plate. Breaking ball, at 74-77 mph, is one of the best in the state. Extreme late break with 10/4 shape. Bigger upside on mound currently; with ability to be a 2-way player depending on which level of college baseball he pursues.
5-foot-11, 180-pound 2-way player who ran a 7.5 60. Ferderer performed as well as anyone at the event. The swing is crisp, simple and clean. Shows above average power to the gaps with balance throughout. Short to contact and consistently squares baseball with authority. Has above average ability to hit. 86 mph exit velocity off tee. One of better third baseman we’ve seen. Active feet. Reads hops and gets in good position to field. Shows upper echelon hands and feet. Has range laterally and ability to make tough plays on slow rollers. Arm is quick from over-the-top slot with accuracy and carry. Would benefit from following throws even more across the diamond. 82 mph arm strength across. Shows good overall “stuff” on mound. Up-tempo delivery. Short 2-piece arm action with above average arm speed. Tucks in balance point. Hides baseball from hitter. Fastball shows late movement at 82-85 mph in the zone. Slider shows sharp 11/5 break late in zone at 73-74 mph. Changeup is currently average with flashes of being better- especially out of stretch. High Follow going into Spring/Summer that colleges will be watching closely as a 2-way prospect.
