3/18/18- 5-foot-9, 165-pound right-handed hitting 2-way player. 7.58 runner. Square stance, leg kick trigger, above avg. round of bp, consistently squared baseball, shows good hand/eye coordination, works middle field, hard line drive contact, 82 mph exit velocity. Short compact arm action, works around and through ball, sure hands, quick release, solid actions in field, 71 mph arm across infield. On mound; short rocker step into tilted posture, stiffer lower half, short arm action, with solid extension and finish. Commanded fastball well, worked both sides of plate, at 73-75 mph. Loose spin and early break on 11/5 curveball. Straight changeup with avg. fade for strikes.
3/18/17- 5-foot-7, 160-pound right-handed hitting 2-way player. 7.59 runner. Weight shift and slight shoulder load, quiet head, line drive swing plane, some stiffness through zone, flashed hard line drive contact to both sides of field, 82 mph exit velocity. Solid fielder, quick release, avg. rhythm playing through, solid actions and skills at second base, 76 mph arm strength across infield. On mound; overhead windup, uncontrolled front leg, occasionally upright on release, short arm action from ¾ slot. Fastball was 74-77 mph with slight running action to plate. Above avg. breaking ball showing tight rotation, depth, with 10/4 shape. Late run and sink on firm changeup for strikes.
5/3/16- 5-foot-6, 150-pound right-handed hitting 2-way player. 7.87 runner. Open stance, clean swing path, pull approach, shows good pop in bat for age, 80 mph exit velocity. Solid glove and actions, will improve with additional reps and maturity, low ¾ arm slot with quicker release, 70 mph arm strength. Simple delivery, stays over the rubber with hips, and has good direction to plate. Fastball was 72-74 mph, touching 75 mph, with slight run. Slider shape on breaking ball with small shape and late break. Tends to push changeup with stiff wrist causing flat action.
