7/10/19: In his second summer in the league, Steiger is playing an extremely steady middle infield for the Rox. The best tools are the glove and arm from shortstop, which he profiles as for the future. Steiger has good actions, an athletic arm, and flows well to both sides. In his 95 career starts at SDSU, he has fielded .970 and shows the ability to take away hits, especially to his glove side with his speed and quickness in short bursts. After only having seven extra base hits with the Rox last summer, he already has seven doubles, a triple, and four home runs. His simple swing creates bat speed and really utilizes his frame well at 5-foot-11 and 180 pounds, hitting a career .318 for the Jackrabbits. (DeGagne)
