Slight open stance, leg kick trigger, easy rhythm in hands, clean path through contact with extension, aggressive swinger with flashes of pop in bat, 85 mph exit velocity. Solid actions in field, usable glove, appropriate footwork, accurate to bag with carry on throws, 83 mph arm strength across infield.

10/24/16- 6-foot-2, 190-pound right-handed hitting 2-way player. 7.73 runner. Shows rhythm in load, stays through zone well with barrel, gap to gap approach, hard contact to middle of field, 89 mph exit velocity. Shows good glove, avg. range, long release on accurate throws to bag, 82 mph arm across infield. On mound; relatively clean mechanics, some wrap on backside of arm action, with moderate effort of release. Fastball was 79-81 mph with varying run and cut action. Breaking ball has improved with sharper 12/6 break and tighter rotation. Was around zone with changeup showing flat action and avg. fade. Currently un-ranked; Soeffker will appear in updated 2018 rankings.

5/3/16- 6-foot-1, 182-pound right-handed hitting 2-way player. 8.22 runner. Easy load, balanced stride, quiet head to contact, finds barrel, consistent solid contact, gap to gap approach, 84 mph exit velocity. Moves with short strides, soft glove, clean exchanges, footwork is solid, profiles as third baseman, avg. accuracy to bag with 79 mph arm strength. Follow in 2018 class. Stays over the rubber. Lands across body. Clean arm action with good extension out front. Fastball was 78-80,touching 81 mph, with cut action and heavy feel in zone. Curveball and slider are relatively the same pitch; showing solid depth of break around zone. Currently developing feel for a changeup.

2/27/16- 6-foot-1, 180-pound right-handed hitting 2-way player. Above avg. set-up in box. Long through the zone with good hands and gap to gap approach. Flashes pop in bat to pull-side of field. 84 mph exit velocity off tee. Third base actions and body. Creates good direction with feet on throws. Arm action is clean with accuracy to bag. Solid glove and feet on groundballs. 74 mph arm strength across infield. Sound mechanics with relatively clean arm action. Lands across body in stride. Cuts off lower half. Fastball is straight at 79-81 mph. Will need and should continue to improve on secondary pitches. Currently lacks feel for curveball at 55-58 mph and changeup at 65-66 mph.
