6/20/17
6-foot-1, 215 pound left hand prospect sets up at the plate with the bat over his shoulder standing tall. Sways his body loading his front foot early and throwing his hands through the ball. Likes to turn on the baseball working the ball pull side. In the field has a calm approach allowing the ball to come to him fielding out front taking a step and throwing. On the mound takes a large step to the right, lowering his hands moving into a waist high leg lift. Throws with mostly arm. More in the tank as he incorporates his lower half. Fastball showed arm side run 79-81 mph. 2/8 breaking curve ball showed a nice drop 68-71 and a 67-70 mph change up.

2/12/17
6-foot-1, 215 pound LHP prospect has changed his frame since the time we saw him. Working at a moderate pace on the mound slightly bends his upper body at the leg lift releasing from a high 3/4 arm slot. Fastball showed late life with an occasional dip 77-79 mph being an affective pitch to produce grounders. 69-70  mph 2/8 breaking curve ball and a tailing change up 68-71 mph.

1/23/16
Hallenbeck has a 5-foot-11, 195-pound build. He throws from a 3/4 arm slot and stays upright throughout his delivery. His fastball had sink on it at 72-76 mph. His curveball has 2/8 break on it and sat 66-70 mph. His changeup had good sink to it at 68-69 mph. He showed the ability to throw all three pitches for strikes and located to both sides of the plate with his fastball.
