6/18/13 With an evenly proportioned, athletic body at 5-foot-11 and 185-pounds Tyler employs an opposite field approach while the barrel is in the zone for a while with a slight uppercut.  Defensively, he sticks pitches with strong hands and is adept at keeping balls in front of him.  The arm plays due to footwork and transfer.

2/23/13  Dundore showed measurable improvement in all facets of his game.  60 time improved to 7.5.  Exit velo improved to 83mph up from 82mph. Most importantly his poptimes dropped to the 2.1 range down from 2.25 which was helped by his arm strength registering 74mph. He shows a short arm action and improved footwork.  His feet do need to get faster and he sits on the higher side for a catcher. Dundore was good at the plate. Showed swagger in his approach.  He was balanced and athletic. Has a smooth load and gap-to-gap pop.  He does have a tendency to drift in when hitting.


9/16/12 Dundore had one of the better BP rounds on the day.  He produced several hard hit baseball several of which one hopped the wall in right field.  He had a balanced approach and some bat speed.  He will generate more power down the road as his lower half becomes more involved.  Behind the plate he has a short arm action and made consistent throws.
