2/9/13 Hoard has a good athletic frame. He moved well in the outifeld and played through the baseball. His arm strength registered 76mph. At the plate he switch hits. Both sides were solid. He seems to have more potential from the right however. He has fast bat speed and got to extension. Hoard did work out on the mound as well. HIs fastball sat between 74-78 mph and his breaking ball was a 11-5 breaker. He did throw a split as well at 58mph.
