 2/23/13 Davis is a 5-foot-11, 185-pound strong athletic third baseman. He ran ok for his standards (7.07). Has been as low as 6.88 before.  His arm strength improved to 85mph across the diamond, a testament to his strength. His arm is longer for an infielder.  At the plate he started from a crouch yet athletic setup. He got to extension well but needs to improve his lower half. His bat speed registered 85mph.

6/19/12 Riley Davis is a strong bodied athlete who ran one of the better 60 times on the day at 6.88.  At third base his throws were solid and he demonstrated his athleticism.  At the plate, his hands worked well and he had a good approach with a little swagger.  He seems to be a rhythm hitter that shot the ball to both gaps.
