6-foot-2, 185 pound athletic prospect with a projectable frame. Works from a wide stance at the plate gaining rhythm in his load. Likes to go pull side. Registered a 78 mph exit velocity. Has quick actions at SS with a strong throwing arm. 81 mph infield velo. Clean delivery on the mound while working with a long, loose ¾ arm slot. Fastball was 77-80 mph with movement, 11/5 65-68 mph breaking curve and 69-70 mph change up with deception.

Matovina has an athletic frame at 6-foot--2, 185-pounds. He has a wide stance and has good rhythm with his load. He shows good bat speed and the ability to keep his barrel through the hitting zone with a gap-to-gap approach. His exit velocity was 77 mph and he had a home-to-1st time of 4.57. On the infield, he shows good footwork with rhythm and fielding the ball out front with good hands. His infield velocity was 80 mph. On the mound, he has a long arm action and throws from a high-3/4 arm slot. His fastball sat 79-80 mph with some arm side run. His changeup was thrown with the same arm speed as his fastball and sat 71-74 mph. His curveball had 11/5 break to it and sat 67-68 mph. He showed the ability to drive through the ball and used his lower half well.

6-foot-1, 175-pound prospect. Short, quick swing with some aggression. Cuts off follow through slightly, but did work the middle of the field well. Recorded a bat exit speed of 88 mph. Good hands and feet around the ball on the infield. Slow developing delivery on throws across the diamond. Registered a 84 arm velocity. Projectable frame with fundamentally solid mechanics on the mound. Over the top arm angle with some effort in the delivery. Featured a straight fast at 77-80 mph which was consistently thrown for strikes. Breaking ball was 65 mph.
