6-foot-2, 185-pound prospect. Athletic, slightly open stance. Shows some quality bat speed with short leg lift and explosive swings. Works in a pull to middle of the field approach while showing some occasional power to the pull side. Recorded an exit velocity of 86 mph. Athletic defender with good glove actions and a loose arm across the infield at 81 mph. On the mound, Skidmore has a 3-pitch mix featuring a fastball, curveball, and changeup. His fastball sits 80-83 mph with arm side run and his changeup has similar swing back action at 72-74 mph. Curveball shows late break at 74-75 mph. Skidmore keeps the ball down well, using a high 3/4 arm slot with good direction and quality control.

Shows good arm strength from third base, 76mph across the infield. Hands work well through the baseball. Ran a 4.87 home to 1^st. Showed the ability to hit to all fields at the plate. Has strength in his bat with his bat speed registering at 84 mph.
