5-foot-10, 155 pound prospect has a projectable frame, adding a few pounds since the winter. At the plate uses a wide crouched stance. Produced several line drives with a long finish on his swing. Worked the middle of the field. In the field has a bounce in his step moving quickly towards the ball with a few skips. On the mound has a quick motion lowering his hands using a small leg lift throwing from a high 3/4 arm angle. Fastball sat 79-82 mph. Has more in the tank as he learns to incorporate his lower half. 11/5 curve was 63-65 mph

Sovey is a 5-foot-11, 145 pound prospect with a nice projectable frame. In the field stays low while fielding the ball deep, take a step and throws with effort. Shows strong range to the glove side. Sets up with knee bend open stance while holding his hands chest high. Steps into rhythm loading his hands swing uphill with a high finish. On the mound uses minimal movement to arrive at his balance point, rocking his body back to deliver. Fastball sat 74-78 mph with late run, 66 mph curve and 69-72 mph diving change up.
