A catching prospect in the 2019 class. Behind the plate he registered pop times between 2.43-2.52, showing 65 mph arm strength to second base. Footwork creates direction as he get out of his crouch. Transfer skills and arm strength are developing. As those tools progress he should see easy decreases in pop times. At the plate he is a contact type hitter, with a compact line drive swing. Loading sequence is fluid and efficient. Path is level and he does a nice job of squaring the baseball up routinely. More pop to come as he adds strength to his athletic frame. Top exit velocity off the tee was 79 mph.
