5-foot-9, 190 pound prospect.  Side arm slot on the mound, creates a lot of swing and misses and groundballs. Fastball with cut action at 70-71 mph. Sweeping slider 62-64 mph. Knuckle ball is 61-62 mph. Ran a 7.60 60. Ran a 4.92 home to first. Good setup with strength in his bat, uses the whole field. Bat speed registered at 82 mph.

5-foot-8, 190 pound prospect. Side arm pitcher from the right side. Locates pitches for strikes well. Fastball has good cut action at 72-73 mph. Slider has good movement at 63-65 mph.

7/2/13 Submarine pitcher who throws strikes.  Everything stayed down in the zone with sink.  68-71mph.  Threw a knuckleball from underneath. A few of them were really good.  Time and maturity will bring velocity up.  Offers a different look. Like something about him.

2/9/13 Ryther worked out in the infield and on the mound.  To us he showed the most promise on the mound. He is a submariner. The 5-foot-8 Ryther did a nice job repeating his deliver.  He took his head down with the pitch well. His fastball sat between 68-70 mph with plenty of strikes.  Ryther showed a good frisbee for a breaking ball.  He will get outs.  Only a sophomore he will be fun to follow.
