Thomas has a 5-foot-11, 180-pound build with broad shoulders. He throws from an over-the-top arm slot with a long arm action. His fastball sat 73-75 mph with occasional cut and occasional run. His curveball had gradual 12/6 break at 59-62 mph. He threw his changeup with fastball arm speed and it sat 70-71 mph. He uses a big leg kick and tilts back before driving towards home plate with his lower half.
