2.12.17 (Preseason All State) - Kampes has an athletic 5-foot-10, 175-pound frame. He runs a 7.13 60-yard dash and hits from a square stance with a crouched load. His swing is level with okay extension. He shows above average bat speed with exit velocity of 89. He has a 1.85-2.03 pop and a velocity of 76 to second, he shows a quick transfer and release with good carry on his throws. His receives are quiet with good control of the ball with minimal body movement.

11.5.16 - Athletic frame at 5-foot-10, 175-pounds. Ran a 7.19 60-yard dash. Hits from a square set up short load to hitting position. Level bat path with quick hands in and out of the zone. Gets some lower half involvement, slight collapse at times instead of transfer. Advanced receiving along with an extremely fast catch and release ability. Pop time ranged from 1.80 - 1.91 from behind the dish. Throws are accurate and have some carry on them. Soft receiver behind dish with body control. As he continues to develop offensively should continue to progress.

2.21.16 - Athletic frame with room to grow at 5-foot-11, 170-pounds. Ran a 7.09 60-yard dash. Athletic low base behind the plate. Good flexibility. Soft hands receiving and sticks ball well. Fast exchange and footwork throwing to second. Gets rid of the ball quickly. Short arm action throwing from an almost over the top arm slot. Throws have carry on them at 75 mph. Pop time got as low as 1.84. Has shown much improvement behnd the plate and is a interesting catching prospect in the 2018 class (Kampes did not hit due to injury).

10.11.15 - Athletic frame with room fill out at 5-foot-10, 155-pounds. Runs a 7.55 60-yard dash. Hits from a tall, slightly open setup. Short load and stride to balance. Has a level swing path with some bat speed. Pull type hitter. Uses lower half well. Exit velocity of 85 mph. Quiet receiver with soft hands. Quick and clean exchange with a short arm action throwing from a ¾ arm slot. Throws were accurate at 73 mph. Pop time as low as 2.01.
