His arm action is loose as he releases the ball from a high ¾ slot. He gets down the mound well and clears his hips into a square finish. His fastball topped at 75mph with arm side run. His changeup had downward action at 65-67mph. His breaking ball had 12-6 shape with depth and could be a strike out pitch.

Good balance throughout approach. Level bat path. Some extension through contact. Exit velo of 75 mph. Throws were accurate and consistent on turns from a ¾ arm slot.  Solid fundamentals around the bag showing a quick exchange and feet on turns and throws. Throws across the diamond at 65 mph...Robert McHugh has a lanky and projectable 6-foot-1 155lb frame. With room to fill. Throws from a ¾ arm slot. Delivery showed rhythm and some effort. Compact arm action and average arm speed. Pitches at 70-71mph. Threw breaking ball 59-61mph. Breaking ball has 11/5 shape with average rotation and gradual break to it.
