Solid durable pitching frame at 6-foot-2, 180-pounds. Controlled sidestep delivery with active leg kick into hip load and backside drive. Short arm action after break with slight pause before arm moves forward. Creates quick arm speed through release with good posture. Falls slightly toward third in finish, but after release. Repeats very well with simple delivery. Fastball has slight run on the pitch up to 83. Hides ball well with late pickup for hitters. Breaking ball has depth to the pitch with 1/7 shape that ranged from 68-73 mph.

2.19.17 - Solid athletic frame at 6-foot-2, 185 pounds. Rockback delivery into hip load. Slight pause after leg lift as he glides downhill. Short arm action coming almost straight back from glove at chest height. Creates quick whip through release point. Nice lower half involvement. Velocity has increased since last year on most pitches. Fastball ranges 80-83 mph with slight sink. Curveball ranges 70-73 mph now with a more sweeping action. Changeup and slider both range 72-74 mph. Changeup has more fade and slider cuts much tighter, a bit earlier. Developed well since last year.

2.21.16 - Projectable frame at 6-foot-1, 175-pounds. Short arm actions throwing from a high ¾ arm slot. Creates quick arm speed and has deception in delivery. Controlled tempo and nice lower half involvement. Falls slightly towards glove side. Fastball has some sink to the pitch at 83 mph. Breaking ball has short and tight break on the pitch with 1/7 shape. Curveball has the bigger action 65-67. Slider has tighter rotation with shorter sharper late break at 68. Changeup has hard fade to the pitch at 71 mph. Interesting prospect in the 2018 class with room to grow.
